Wow a lot of changes here, I'll try to outline the major ones below: Connections Create connections to as many databases as you need Test these connections Publish/Unpublish connections Tables Tables can be viewed in the administration section and in the front end The front end view can be styled using patTemplate Link to an existing database table, and mosForms will automatically create your table, form, groups and elements. View the table data in the administration site Define elements to be filters (drop down or fields) for your table data Define elements that order the data Set publishing info Define which user types have access to view/edit/add/delete records from the table "Link to menu" tab Table data can be exported to a CSV file Forms "Form groups" now defined in a tab rather than on a separate page "Link to menu" tab Publishing tab now available "View Only" now available - this means that users can view a row of table data with out being able to edit it patTemplating for "View Only" mode Multiple file uploads now possible from one form Elements New elements added: Date - javascript date pop up window, the same as Mambo's date pop-up Database Join - a drop down linking the element to another table - useful for emulating foreign keys Button - a button with definable Javascript code Improved Element Features The default data in fields can be evaluated by php better handling of check boxes, drop downs and radio buttons Text areas can now use the WYSIWYG text editor if required Uploaded files can now be emailed to the form recipient Uploaded files with the same name can be set to be re saved with an incremental name (e.g. if you upload image.jpg and it already exits, it will be saved as image1.jpg) Images can now be chosen from any location under /images/stories Preview of image chosen now possible Images can link to another page Images can be set to float left/right Elements can now be published/unpublished You can now add validations on the same page as the element There's a whole tab dedicated to how the element behaves in the table Validation Rules You can now define your own validation rules using regular expressions Misc: You can now set which elements data appears on the html page's title |
