Here's an unexhastive list of features available in version 0.3 rc6

Forms

Forms can be sent to a given series of email addresses.
Reciepts can be sent to the person filling in the form
When submitting a form, the server validates the data against the validation rules you supply (see "Server Side Form Validation" below)
Once submitted you can define a thank you message, or a web page to jump to

Groups


Groups form collections of elements, allowing you to organise large forms. You can define seperate CSS settings for each group, Groups can also be reused in more than one form, saving you time if you have a large number of forms with similar fields.

Elements

These  are the widgets that make up a form, including:

  • Text Fields
    • Field Width
    • Default Value
    • Define as a Text/Hidden/Password Field
    • Maximum Number of Characters
  • Text Areas
    • define the width and height of the text area
  • Checkboxes
    • Choose to set it to be selected as defualt
  • Radio buttons
    • Choose to set it to be selected as defualt
  • Drop Down
    • Multiple/Single Selections
    • Initally Selected Value
  • Plain text
  • File Upload
    • Set maximum file size
    • Define allowed file types
  • Show images in the form
  • Insert user name into the form

Validation

MosForms allows for server-side form validation with the following rules:

  • Test for an empty field
  • Test for alpha numeric field data
  • Test for correctly formatted email addresses
